hindsight is 20-20

it seemed like such a good idea back in the summer. enjoy the benefits of a marathon without all of the pain by entering the relay marathon. i don't think we'll have to worry too much about hyponatremia this time, since it's going to be both cold and rainy on sunday and we're each only running a mere 5 to 8 miles each ( uh, thanks anne job?)

the only source of inspiration is the potential to bring home the trophies! we can't quite figure out what category we've registered for, but last year's university/college category only had two entries and their times, while respectable, are well within reach (read: we plan to kick some serious academic ass).

this is our last "major" event of the season- and I think the aars are ready for a little break. it appears that, gasp, dissertating is cutting into running (and blogging) time - talk about effed up priorities !!
