hallelujah!
i was skeptical that everyone would actually show up, but for the first time in 2006 all aa-based aars ran together! yeehaw. does this mean we're getting back on track? starting off on the right foot? do people who run together finish dissertations together?
we've got so much to look forward to... burns park, dexter-ann arbor, the crim, and all those half-marathons in our soon-to-be new home states. and because misery loves company, it's so much more fun to run together!! even the rats think so!

interesting story about the rats. i must say, given the alternative of running by myself or w/ someone else ON A TREADMILL (i think that's the human equivalent of the mouse wheel, right?), i would definitely go with the latter. however, if you hook those rats up with little mini-ipods (think how cute that would be!) and set them on huron river drive on a sunny cool day, i think the choice between alone vs. other runners isn't quite so clear.
did i mention i love my nano?
